CITY OF FRESNO PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TEXT AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. P26-03017 AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT NO. P26-03017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Fresno City Planning Commission, in accordance with Fresno Municipal Code (FMC) Section 15-5007, California Government Code Section 65854, and in accordance with the procedures of Article 50, Chapter 15, of the Fresno Municipal Code, will conduct a public hearing at a Special Meeting to consider the items below, filed by the City of Fresno. At the hearing, the following will be considered: 1. Environmental Assessment No. P26-03017: In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an Environmental Assessment was prepared regarding a finding that the SEDA Development Code Update is within the scope of the SEDA PEIR (SCH No. 2022020486) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15168. The SEDA PEIR (SCH No. 2022020486) adequately describes the SEDA Development Code Text Amendment (Text Amendment Application No. P26-03017) for the purposes of CEQA. 2. Text Amendment Application No. P26-03017: consideration of a text amendment to the Development Code establishing Article 17 of the Fresno Municipal Code regarding zoning and development standards for the Southeast Development Area (SEDA) Specific Plan. The SEDA Specific Plan is bounded on the west by Minnewawa, Temperance, and Locan Avenues, on the east by McCall, Highland, and Temperance Avenues, on the north by the Gould Canal, and on the south by North and Jensen Avenues. *The above documents are available for public review via e-mail (noted below) and within the upcoming Planning Commission agenda.
