NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT Fresno Unified School District Calwa Elementary School Reconstruction Project State Clearinghouse Number 2026030919 Notice is hereby given of the availability of following document: Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Calwa Elementary School Reconstruction Project. The Fresno Unified School District proposes to implement the Calwa Elementary School Reconstruction Project using Measure H bond funds. The project would involve the selective demolition and reconstruction of existing campus facilities, interior renovation of seven existing buildings, construction of a new Multipurpose Room, Administration Office, and Early Learning Building, and associated site improvements including new parking areas, student and bus drop-off facilities, and redeveloped play areas. Construction would occur in two phases while school operations remain in session. The project would not increase student enrollment or campus capacity and would modernize the campus to meet current educational, accessibility, safety, and energy-efficiency standards.
