NOTICE OF Invitation for Bid (IFB) Solar Light Pole Installation San Joaquin Appt. (2026-IFB-16) Contact: Rebecca Kelley, Procurement Analyst E-Mail: rkelley@fresnohousing.org Fresno Housing (FH) is requesting bids from qualified, licensed and insured contractors (California Class B General Building Contractor license or C-10 Electrical Contractor license) to provide solar light pole installation at the San Joaquin Apartment property located at 8610 Pine St, San Joaquin, CA 93660. The scope of work includes the removal and decommissioning of two (2) existing light poles and associated electrical systems, and the installation of eighteen (18) new solar-powered LED light poles on concrete foundations (sixteen new locations and two replacements). The new system will consist of integrated, energy-efficient solar LED lighting units with solar panels, battery storage, and luminaires. This upgrade will improve site visibility and resident safety while reducing long-term electrical and maintenance costs. The goal is to enhance the aesthetic appeal, safety, and longevity of the property. This project is funded through public housing capital funds and will require compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including both Federal Davis Bacon and California Prevailing Wage requirements and Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions. Contractors and Subcontractor must be registered with the DIR. Certified payroll will be required for this job. 10% Retention Required, Bid Bond/Guarantees, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond are required.
