NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE FRESNO WESTSIDE MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT FOR THE MOSQUITO AND DISEASE CONTROL ASSESSMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Fresno Westside Mosquito Abatement District intends to conduct a public hearing for the CONTINUATION of a benefit assessment in fiscal year 2026-27 that funds the District's mosquito abatement and disease control services in the northwest area of Fresno County. The public hearing to consider the ordering of services and the levy of the continued assessments for fiscal year 2026-27 for the mosquito and disease control assessment shall be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 12:45 p.m. at the Fresno Westside Mosquito Abatement District Office located at 2555 N Street, Firebaugh, CA 93622. The proposed assessment rate for fiscal year 2026-27 is fifty-three dollars and sixty-three cents ($53.63) per single-family equivalent benefit unit. Members of the public are invited to provide comment at the public hearing, or in writing, provided such written comment is received by the Board on or before Thursday, June 11, 2026.
