NOTICE OF Invitation for Bid (IFB) Evaporative Cooler Conversion- San Joaquin Appt. (2026-IFB-12) Contact: Rebecca Kelley, Procurement Analyst E-Mail: rkelley@fresnohousing.org Fresno Housing (FH) is requesting bids from qualified, licensed and insured General Contractors for to provide and install new evaporative cooling systems at the San Joaquin Apartments property located in San Joaquin, California. This project consists of upgrading twenty (20) dwelling units with modern, energy-efficient evaporative cooling systems to improve indoor comfort, reliability, and overall system performance for residents. The scope of work includes the installation of roof-mounted down-draft evaporative coolers for the majority of units, as well as side-draft configurations for select two-story buildings where roof installation is not feasible. Work includes all associated components such as roof curbs, plenums, duct transitions, electrical connections, water supply, and drainage systems. Existing wall-mounted units will remain in place and are excluded from the scope. This project is funded through public housing capital funds and will require compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including prevailing wage and Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions.
