NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that CLOVIS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, (hereinafter referred to as "Owner") will receive sealed bids prior to the date and time stated for the Bid Opening for installation of:
BID 3082– Digital Scoreboard Installation Various Sites
as per drawings and specifications which may be obtained electronically from:

Mandatory Job Walk – A mandatory job walk will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The job walk will begin at Clovis North High School, located at 2770 E. International Ave, Fresno, CA 93730, with participants meeting at the flagpole. The job walk will then proceed to Clovis West High School, located at 1070 E. Teague, Fresno, CA 93720. Contractors must attend both locations in order to be deemed responsive; failure to attend both sites will result in disqualification from bidding.
Bids must be sealed and filed with the Clovis Unified School District, Purchasing Department, located at 1450 Herndon Ave, Clovis, California 93611, no later than 11:00 AM on Friday, May 8, 2026, as determined by the Owner's designated bid clock. Bids will be opened publicly at that time and location. No bid will be accepted after the specified time, and facsimile (FAX) bids will not be accepted.
Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner.
The Owner will not consider or accept bids from contractors who are not properly licensed to do business in the State of California in accordance with the California Public Contract Code. Pursuant to Section 3300 of said Code, the Contractor shall possess a valid California "Class C-10" or "C-45" license, which must be maintained in good standing for the duration of the project. The Contractor shall be fully familiar with the complete scope of work, including all low-voltage, data, and related requirements, and shall be responsible for performing all labor, coordination, installation, and any associated tasks necessary to complete the project in its entirety.
Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor's and subcontractors' current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project.
This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid.
The Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, in the manner provided by law, has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and rate for legal holidays and overtime work as set forth in Article VIII of the Agreement. The Contractor must pay for any labor therein described or classified in an amount not less than the rates specified.
