PUBLIC MEETING ON THE PROPOSED SALE AND CHANGE IN CONTROL AND GOVERNANCE OF BETHEL LUTHERAN HOME, INC. The Attorney General is reviewing the proposed sale and change of control and governance of Bethel Lutheran Home, Inc., a California nonprofit religious corporation affiliated with the Social Ministry Organization of the Sierra Pacific Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, to for-profit Bayshire Central Valley LLC, a California limited liability company, doing business as Jericho Care Group, and its newly formed affiliates, 2280 Dockery Holdings LLC, a California limited liability company, and Bethel Skilled Care, LLC, a California limited liability company. Bethel Lutheran Home, Inc. operates 36 facilities for senior independent living, a residential care facility for the elderly and an assisted living facility with 33 suites, and a 59-bed skilled nursing facility located at 2280 Dockery Avenue and 1250 Rorden Avenue in Selma, California. The proposed transaction is being reviewed by the Attorney General as required by Corporations Code sections 5914 et seq. The terms of the proposed sale and change in control and governance are set forth in the written notice to the Attorney General. The written notice to the Attorney General is available on the Attorney General's Nonprofit Health Facility Transactions Notices website, at the following website address: oag.ca.gov/system/files/media/notice-bethel.pdf The California Attorney General will conduct a public meeting on Friday May 8, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at The Village by Bethel Lutheran Home, Inc., located at 1250 Rorden Avenue, Selma, CA 93662. The purpose of the public meeting is to receive public comments on the proposed transaction.
