VACANCY OF AND PROVISIONAL APPOINTMENT TO THE GOVERNING BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CENTRAL UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY given pursuant to Education Code section 5092 of the State of California that due to the resignation of Board Member Natalie Chavez, filed with the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools on January 23, 2026, and effective as of March 10, 2026, a provisional appointment pursuant to Education Code section 5091 has been made. On March 10, 2026, the Governing Board of Trustees (Board) of the Central Unified School District made a provisional appointment of Hermanjet Singh to the Board. Unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a sufficient number of signatures, is filed in the office the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, 1111 Van Ness Avenue, Fresno, California, 93721-2000 within 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment.
