Public Notice NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 21st, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as it may be heard, the Board of Directors ("Board") of the Fresno County Fire Protection District ("District") will hold a public hearing at 9594 E. American Ave., Del Rey, California 93616, will conduct the second reading of Ordinance No. 2025-04, described as: AN ORDINANCE OF THE FRESNO COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ADOPTING THE 2025 EDITION OF THE CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE, AMENDING THOSE PORTIONS IDENTIFIED WITHIN THE ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES The purpose of the Ordinance is to adopt by reference the 2025 California Fire Code (California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 9) together with non-building standards, along with amendments to address local climatic, topographic, and related conditions to protect the welfare of citizens and property. Full text copies of the Ordinance and relevant materials are available for inspection by the public during regular business hours at the District's offices at the above address. All interested persons are invited to review the file and to be present to speak at the public hearing. Written comments may be submitted via U.S. Mail or hand delivery to the District offices at the address above prior to the meeting. Legal challenges to these proceedings may be limited to only the issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing or submitted in writing to the District prior to the hearing.
