NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS CITY OF MARICOPA CITY PARK EXPANSION AND REHABILITATION PROJECT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN sealed bids will be received by the City of Maricopa (Agency) at its office, 400 California Ave, Maricopa, CA. 93252, until 2:00 p.m. on September 31, 2025, to furnish the work described in the contract documents. Bids will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. Bids received after the time announced for the opening will not be considered and will be returned, unopened, to the bidder. Said bids shall conform to and be responsive to the Specifications and Contract Documents for the work as heretofore approved by the Agency. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Job Site, 801 Stanislaus St. Attendance is not mandatory. General work description: This project will expand park boundaries and update infrastructure, landscaping, and amenities. Work includes building or renovating playgrounds, pathways, parking, entrances, and upgrading furniture, lighting, restrooms, picnic shelters, and signage for better safety and comfort. All other standard tasks required by plans and specifications will also be completed. All work must be completed within sixty (180) working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Bids shall be sealed in an envelope marked City of Maricopa –CITY PARK EXPANSION AND REHABILITATION PROJECT addressed to the City of Maricopa Public Works Department Attention City Clerk and be delivered thereto on or before the day and hour set for the opening of bids in the notice inviting sealed bids and shall bear the name of the bidder. Any bid received after that scheduled closing time for receipt of bids shall be returned to the bidder unopened. The contractor shall possess a Class A license at the time this contract is awarded.
