NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Fresno (the "City") will conduct a public hearing (the "Public Hearing") at its regular meeting on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 9:25 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matters may be heard, in the Council Chambers of the City Council, City Hall, 2600 Fresno Street, Fresno, California. Pursuant to Section 6586.5 of the California Government Code (the "Code"), the purpose of the hearing is to consider: (i) approval of the issuance by the Fresno Joint Powers Financing Authority (the "Authority") of one or more series of its Lease Revenue Bonds (the "Bonds") in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $60,000,000 for the purpose of financing the acquisition and construction of Fire Station No. 12, a 911 Emergency Call Center, and Police Department Headquarters Tenant Improvements within the City; and (ii) whether there are any significant public benefits to the City, such as savings in effective interest rates, as a result of assistance from the Authority. Interested persons wishing to comment on the proposed issuance of the Bonds, the use of the proceeds, and whether there are any significant public benefits to the City from the issuance and sale of the Bonds, may be present and be heard at the Public Hearing, or may submit written comments and questions not later than 9:25 a.m. on the day preceding the Public Hearing to the City Clerk, City Hall, 2600 Fresno Street, Fresno, California 93721. Due to time constraints and the number of persons wishing to give oral testimony, time restrictions may be placed on oral testimony at the Public Hearing regarding this proposal.
