Salas and Narvaez to Wed

Matthew Edward Salas, 28, and Julia Lynn Narvaez, 27, are pleased to announce their upcoming nuptials. Julia is the daughter of Benjamin Narvaez and Rotchana Narvaez. Matthew is the son of Adrienna M. Salas and the late Edward M. Salas. The couple will elope at the historic Tarrant County Courthouse this Monday, May 4, 2026. Afterward, the couple will take a brief honeymoon to Hot Springs, Arkansas, the location of their first trip together two years ago. Matthew and Julia met in sixth grade at Sidney H. Poynter Elementary and became close friends playing trumpet and flute in Crowley High School’s Mighty Eagle Band. After Matthew graduated with a B.S. in Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Julia graduated with a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of North Texas, the two reconnected at Summer Moon Coffee in 2023, proving that a decade of friendship was the perfect foundation for falling in love."
