NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF TYPE B PROJECT ARLINGTON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION In accordance with the Texas Local Government Code Section 505.159, a public hearing will be held by the Arlington Economic Development Corporation during a meeting to be held by the Board of Directors on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers at Arlington City Hall, 101 W. Abram Street, Arlington, Texas to consider the use of sales tax proceeds to undertake and to fund the Arlington Film and Media Incentive Program, an economic development project to provide incentives for film and other media production in Arlington. The programming will support the creation and retention of primary jobs by promotion and development of new or expanded business enterprises that create or retain primary jobs. This notice shall constitute publication of a Type B project as required by Texas Local Government Code Section 505.160. Following the Public Hearing and the receipt of public input, it is anticipated that the Board of Directors for the Arlington Economic Development Corporation may take action on the project at the same meeting.
