INVITATION TO BID Key Construction Texas LLC (Construction Manager) are soliciting proposals for CITY OF WAXAHACHIE – FIRE STATION #1. The project is located at 1475 Spur 394, Waxahachie, TX 75165. Bid documents will be available 08/26/26 and bids will be due to Key Construction on 09/10/26 by 2:00 PM CT. Key will hold a pre-bid meeting on 08/27/26 @2PM at the Civic Center, Ballroom 1, 2000 Civic Center Ln, Waxahachie, TX 75165. Key Construction is soliciting competitive bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers for the ground-up construction of 12,178-square-foot single-story building. The facility will include 4 apparatus bays, kitchen, sleeping quarters, offices, training areas and storm shelter area. Alternate pricing is requested for an auxiliary building for additional apparatus storage. Construction is scheduled to start October 2026. The project includes site clearing, site utilities, off-site roadwork, paving concrete, masonry, structural steel, architectural millwork, waterproofing, glazing, doors, frames and hardware, drywall assemblies, tile, resilient & athletic flooring, painting, specialties, kitchen & fire station equipment, fire suppression systems, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, low voltage systems, fencing, landscape & irrigation, pavement markings, etc . Plans and specifications will be available beginning August 26, 2026. Qualified subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to participate. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all project documents, specifications, and addenda prior to submitting proposals.
