Docket No. 59556 Notice for Publication NOTICE OF APPLICATION OF CITY OF BURLESON TO AMEND ITS CERTIFICATE OF CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO PROVIDE SEWER UTILITY SERVICE IN JOHNSON COUNTY, TEXAS City of Burleson has filed an application with the Public Utility Commission of Texas to amend its sewer Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) No. 20358 for the provision of retail sewer utility service in Johnson County, Texas. The requested area overlaps the district boundaries of Johnson County SUD. If this district does not request a public hearing, the Commission shall determine that the district is consenting to City of Burleson's request to provide retail sewer utility service in the requested area. The requested area is located approximately 6 miles southwest of downtown Burleson, Texas, and is generally bounded on the north by County Road 1015; on the east by County Road 919; on the south by County Road 1016; and on the west by Roaring Creek Road. The requested area includes 0 customer connections and approximately 647.1 acres of uncertificated area to amend (add) to CCN No. 20358. The application proposes the addition of approximately 647.1 acres to CCN No. 20358. A landowner that opts out from the requested area releases the applicant's obligation to provide retail sewer utility service to the removed land for any reason.
