CITY OF FORT WORTH PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the following ordinance was adopted by the Fort Worth City Council at their regular meeting held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 ORDINANCE NO. 28428-04-2026 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22 "MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC," ARTICLE III "OPERATION OF VEHICLES," SECTION 22-86 "SPEEDING," SUBSECTION (i) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS (2015), AS AMENDED, TO CHANGE THE BLOCK RANGES AND EXTENT OF CERTAIN SPEED ZONES; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEAL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 6. Any person who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined an amount not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each offense.
