ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Competitive sealed proposals for the FM156 5.76 MGD PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS project will be received by the City of Haslet, addressed to the City Secretary, at 101 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052, until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 10, 2026 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Community Room at 105 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052.
The project consists of overall site civil improvement work including: site demolition, site grading, existing pump house building/foundation expansion, retaining wall construction, installation of new, owner-furnished, split case pumps with new building piping, installation of suction & discharge piping, concrete flatwork, fencing, installation of owner-furnished generator, and all on-site electrical.
The Notice for Bidders, form of Bid, form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds and other contract documents may be examined at the following location:

Upon new user registration and log in, a request to join the group should be submitted under "Edit Account" tab. The website administrator will then make files accessible to the proposer.
Hard copies may be obtained at the above location upon a refundable deposit of $75 for each set. Deposits shall be refunded if the plans and specifications are returned to Belcheff & Associates, Inc., in useable condition within 10-days of the bid opening.
The purpose of this request for competitive sealed proposals is to solicit bids from capable contractors to complete the scope of work as described above in accordance with Texas Local Government Code Chapter 252. After reviewing all proposals submitted and verifying references, it is the OWNER's intent to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who provides the best value to the municipality, pursuant to Section 252.043(b) of the Texas Local Government Code.
The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Notice to Bidders.
The successful bidder shall (when requested) demonstrate adequate and substantial documented experience in the disciplines necessary for providing the equipment for the project. Appropriate instructions and proposer experience requirements are described elsewhere in the bound contractual documents.
No proposer may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening.
