CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS
On Tuesday evening, May 19, 2026, at 7:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 200 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas, the City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine will hold a public hearing to consider the following items:
Z26-01 & CU26-05; Sunbelt Expansion – submitted by Darren Andrews with McAdams for property located at 1048 East Wall Street (Coppell Road), proposed to be platted as Block 2, Lot 2A-1, Airport Crossing JV Wells. The applicant is requesting to rezone approximately 5.132 acres from "CC", Community Commercial District to "BP", Business Park District. A conditional use permit is also requested to combine two lots into one and to expand the existing sales and rental of heavy machinery and equipment use at 1035 Texan Trail (Lot 2A, Block 2, Airport Crossing JV Wells Addition) to 1048 East Wall Street. The subject properties are zoned "CC", Community Commercial District and "BP", Business Park District and are owned by Sunbelt Rentals, Inc.
CU26-10; 516 Lucas Drive Secondary Structure – submitted by Jeff Hallford for property located at 516 Lucas Drive, platted as Block 4, Lot 12R1, W. C. Lucas Addition. The applicant is requesting a conditional use permit to exceed the maximum building area for secondary structures on lots 20,000 sq. ft. or greater in size. The property is zoned "R-7.5", Single-Family District Regulations and is owned by Jeff Hallford.
CU26-11; German Car Care – submitted by Dan Zatto with Zatto Consulting, LLC for property located at 846 East Northwest Highway, proposed to be platted as Lot 3R, Ruth Wall Subdivision. The applicant is requesting a conditional use permit to allow outside storage, add additional parking, and revise building elevations for an existing auto repair garage. The property is zoned "HC", Highway Commercial District and is owned by Clearsky Partners, LLC.
MP26-01; Nolen Drive and Industrial Boulevard Area Land Use Plan Amendment (Future Land Use Map) – City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission to conduct a public hearing relative to an application submitted by the City of Grapevine to amend Ordinance No. 87-11 relating to the future land use designations for property on Map 2: Land Use Plan (Future Land Use Map) of the Comprehensive Master Plan, for the following properties: 720 Industrial Boulevard, 800 Industrial Boulevard, 801 Industrial Boulevard, 900 Nolen Drive, 1000 Nolen Drive, and 1001 Nolen Drive from the Commercial (CO) designation to the Industrial (IN) designation.
Z26-02, "GU", Governmental Use District (First 29) – submitted by the City of Grapevine for the following properties: 100 Patriot Drive, 1100 Dove Loop Road, 115 East Worth Street, 1150 Dove Loop Road, 1381 North Dooley Street, 1391 North Dooley Street, 2 Grapevine Lake, 2101 Lonesome Dove Road, 216 East Texas Street, 2200 North Kimball Avenue, 2205 Bass Pro Court, 221 West Texas Street, 2235 Bass Pro Court, 2749 Anderson Gibson Road, 2801 Panhandle Drive, 3091 Dove Road, 310 South Main Street, 325 Jenkins Street, 350 Banyan Drive, 3650 Grapevine Mills Parkway, 3700 Grapevine Mills Parkway, 3704 Grapevine Mills Parkway, 3858 Grapevine Mills Parkway, 4001 Corporate Drive, 414 Jones Street, 4301 Lakeside Parkway, 813 Inland Drive, 816 Inland Drive, and 986 Shady Brook Drive. This is a city-initiated rezone of 29 properties, approximately 118 acres city-wide of various existing zoning districts to the "GU", Governmental Use District on the Official Zoning Map. The properties are owned by the City of Grapevine, City of Southlake and United States Army Corps of Engineers.
After all parties have been given an opportunity to speak, the public hearing will be closed and the Commission and the City Council will deliberate the pending matters.
