CITY OF SANSOM PARK ORDINANCE NO. 661-26 The City of Sansom Park City Council approved and adopted the following Ordinance at a regular meeting held on April 16, 2026. This Ordinance shall take effect on April 16, 2026 and publication as required by law, and it is so ordained. CITY OF SANSOM PARK ORDINANCE NO. 661-26 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SANSOM PARK, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 3 BUILDING REGULATIONS BY ADDING ARTICLE 3.09, ENTITLED "REGISTRATION OF SHORT-TERM RENTALS"; ESTABLISHING GENERAL STANDARDS AND A REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR SHORT-TERM RENTALS; AND ESTABLISHING FEES; PROVIDING DEFINITIONS, PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PENALTY CLAUSE: That any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be to the maximum amount allowed by law as provided in section 1.01.009 of the Code of Ordinances. Each day that a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect after adoption on April 16, 2026 and publication as required by law.
