NORTHERN TRINITY GROUNDWATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
COMPLAINT
March 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm
The Northern Trinity Groundwater Conservation District (NTGCD) will hold a public hearing on a complaint filed with NTGCD pursuant to Texas Water Code Section 36.119(g). The public hearing will be held on March 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the District office, located at 1100 Circle Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76119. All interested parties are invited to attend.
NTGCD received a complaint on December 29, 2025 concerning two water wells owned and operated by the City of Everman that have allegedly produced and discharged groundwater in a wasteful manner onto the complainant's adjacent property in violation of NTGCD's rules. Landowners may file complaints with NTGCD under Section 36.119(g) of the Texas Water Code to investigate whether water wells have produced groundwater from adjacent land in violation of a district rule. Under Section 36.119(g) of the Texas Water Code, the District is required to investigate the complaint and, after notice and hearing and not later than the 90th day after the date the written complaint was received by NTGCD, NTGCD is required to determine, based on the evidence presented at a public hearing, whether a district rule has been violated.
The NTGCD is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Reasonable accommodations and equal opportunity for effective communications will be provided upon request. Please call 817-249-2062 at least 24 hours in advance if accommodation is needed.
