NOTICE OF HYBRID PUBLIC HEARING AND REQUEST FOR COMMENT ON THE PROGRAM YEAR 2024 ACTION PLAN SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT FOR REPROGRAMMING CDBG FUNDS FOR TENANT RELOCATION FROM THE 1220 WEST DIVISION ST. PROJECT The City of Arlington proposes to amend the Program Year 2024 Action Plan with the following activity to meet urgent needs. Reprogram $180,000 in PY2024 CDBG funds from the unallocated balance to Tenant Relocation Assistance at 1220 W Division. Funds will provide direct financial relocation assistance to approximately 10–20 tenant households (currently estimated at 12) permanently displaced by the federally assisted acquisition and redevelopment of the 1220 W Division property into HOME-ARP funded permanent supportive housing. Assistance will include moving expenses and replacement housing payments in accordance with URA and Section 104(d). Administrative and advisory services are funded separately. The activity meets the Low- and Moderate-Income Housing national objective and supports the City's Consolidated Plan priorities to expand and preserve affordable and supportive housing.
