ORDINANCE NO. OR-2434-26 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MANSFIELD, TEXAS, AMENDING TITLE VII (TRAFFIC CODE) CHAPTER 72 (STOPPING, STANDING, AND PARKING), ADDING SECTION 72.03 (PARKING RECREATIONAL VEHICLES ON STREETS OR PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY); PROVIDING REGULATIONS FOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE Any person, firm, or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine as provided in Section 70.99 of the Code of Mansfield, Texas. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such. In addition, following a citation issued under Section 72.03 of the Code of Mansfield, Texas, the police officer shall attach a Notice of Removal to the recreational vehicle. If the person in charge of the illegally parked recreational vehicle does not remove the same from the street or public right of way within 48 hours from the posting of such notice, then the Mansfield Police Department is authorized to remove or cause the removal of the recreational vehicle without further notice at the owner's expense.
