NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENTS FOR THE ANTHEM PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, CITY OF ARLINGTON, TEXAS PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 372, TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Arlington, Texas, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 101 W. Abram Street, Arlington, Texas, to receive public comment and consider the adoption of the Service and Assessment Plan (including a current budget), accepting the FY2026 Assessment Roll, levying the assessments for the Anthem Public Improvement District (the "District"), and requiring the payment of the assessments, pursuant to the Public Improvement District Assessment Act, Chapter 372, Texas Local Government Code, for the purpose of providing the funding for services and public improvements described below to serve the property designated within the District. At the public hearing, the City Council will hear and rule on any objections that are raised regarding the Service & Assessment Plan, Assessment Roll, and levying of assessments against properties in the District. The establishment of the District shall have a term of twenty-eight (28) years. During that term, annual assessments against qualifying property in the District shall not exceed a rate of $0.80 per $100 of taxable value of the Tarrant Appraisal District's value of real property and improvements. In accordance with the submitted Service & Assessment Plan, it is anticipated that the first three (3) years of the assessment will be $0.00 per $100 of assessed valuation. The revenue stream from these assessments will be used to assure that the Anthem area creates a sense of place and is economically viable, thereby providing maintenance and beautification for all public spaces, marketing and business engagement including seasonal events and cooperative marketing campaigns, and security to promote a safe environment in coordination with Arlington Police Department. The total cost of the noted public improvement projects and programs identified in the first three program years is approximately $0.00 per year. All written or oral objections will be considered at the public hearing . A copy of the proposed FY2026 Assessment Roll and Service and Assessment Plan for the District is available for public inspection at the Office of the City Secretary, City of Arlington, at 101 West Abram Street, Arlington, Texas, 76010, (817) 459-6186.
