Ordinance No. 26-003
An ordinance amending the "Traffic and Motor Vehicles" Chapter of the Code of the City of Arlington, Texas, 1987, through the amendment of Article II, Operation of Vehicles in City, Section 2.14, Subsection (B), One-Way Streets Adjacent to Schools, by the amendment of the time periods and direction for Stonegate Street; and Article III, Speed Regulations, Section 3.05, Speed Limits in School Zones, Subsection (C), by the amendment of the school zones on Carter Drive, Center Street, Greenway Street, N. Mesquite Street, Sherry Street, Stonegate Street and Wildcat Way; providing for a fine of up to $200 for each offense in violation of the ordinance; providing this ordinance be cumulative; providing for severability; providing for governmental immunity; providing for injunctions; providing for publication and becoming effective ten days after first publication
Any person, firm, corporation, agent or employee thereof who violates any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined an amount not to exceed Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($200) for each offense.
