City of Grand Prairie ORDINANCE NO. 11825-2026 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS, GRANTING A FRANCHISE AND APPROVING A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND RECYCLING SERVICES WITH Republic Waste Services of Texas Ltd., dba Republic Services of ARLINGTON; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF FINDINGS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE SECTION 6. The City Manager is authorized to execute a Franchise Agreement and all necessary and related documents to implement the terms of this ordinance and the Agreement. If any section or provision of this ordinance is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect. This ordinance shall become effective upon the second and final reading, passage and approval by the Grand Prairie City Council, and immediately upon publication.
