ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 PM on 2/24/2026, in ECU Facilities Campus Operations Conference Room located at 1001 E. 4th Street, Greenville, NC, for the construction of the Main Campus Replace Condensate Bate to Wright Steam Tunnel project, SCO ID# 24-28174-01A at which time and place bids will be opened and read. Pre-Bid meeting will be on 1/27/2026 at 10:30 AM at the ECU Facilities Engineering & Architectural Services Annex Conference Room. Project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 600 LF of 6x6 steam tunnel from the Bate Building Mechanical room to the Wright steam tunnel connection and minimal site restoration. Steam and condensate piping will be replaced in this section of tunnel. Water infiltration will be mitigated using a positive side injection waterproofing system at active leaks with the entire tunnel being coated using a negative waterproofing system. Anticipated construction is Monday, April 11, 2026 through Friday, September 9th, 2026.
