CITY OF BURLESON, TEXAS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with Section 43.0751(d) of the Texas Local Government Code, take notice that the City Council of the City of Burleson, Texas (the “City”) will conduct a public hearing at the BURLESON CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 141 W RENFRO STREET, BURLESON, TEXAS 76028 at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 and at 5:30pm on Monday, February 2, 2026, concerning a proposed Strategic Partnership Agreement (the “Agreement”) between the City and the NORTH JOHNSON COUNTY MUNICIPAL MANAGEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 (the “District”). The purpose of the public hearing is to provide mem- bers of the public the opportunity to present testimo- ny or evidence regarding the Agreement. Copies of the Agreement may be obtained by contacting the City Secretary prior to the public hearings. The Agreement provides for the City’s full purpose annexation of all land within the District and conver- sion of the District into a limited district. Upon the full-purpose annexation conversion date, the land included within the boundaries of the district shall be deemed to be within the full-purpose boundary lim- its of the City without the need for further action by the City Council of the City, including issuing notice or conducting public hearings or an election within the district on the question of annexation.
