NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE HASLET COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, A TYPE B EDC In accordance with the Texas Local Gov't Code Section 505.159, a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Directors of the Haslet Community Economic Development Corporation (HCEDC), a Type B Economic Development Corporation, during a meeting to be held on February 25, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the Haslet Community Center, 105 Main Street, Haslet, Texas, to consider and/or act upon 2 projects: The Board will conduct public hearings on the following projects: To provide funds for the replacement of older playground equipment and safety fall zone coverings at Community Park and Nance Field in the amount of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000). To provide funds for the reimbursement of initiation dues paid by the City of Haslet ("City") for the City to rejoin the Metroport Chamber of Commerce in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000).
