ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The City of Roanoke, Texas Walnut Street Improvements General Notice The City of Roanoke, Texas (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Walnut Street Improvements Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Roanoke City Hall located at 500 South Oak Street and on CIVCAST (civcast.com), until Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 at 2:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in the first floor Conference Room #102. The Project includes the following Work: Reconstruction of Walnut Street from Byron Nelson Blvd to Oak Street, including paving, underground storm drainage, replacement of the existing water main, and replacement of the existing sanitary sewer main. Bid Bond Bidders are required to submit a cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Roanoke, or a Bid Bond (with proper Power of Attorney) from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to the City of Roanoke, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid submitted to insure that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and provide all necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days after Notice of Award of the contract. This bid security must be included in the bid envelope for the bidder to be considered responsive. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds as described in the bidding documents. Prospective Bidders shall register through CIVCAST, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than CIVCAST in either electronic or paper format. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through CIVCAST only to plan holders who have registered with CIVCAST. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing office.
