Purpose and Objectives The City of Fort Worth (City) Transportation and Public Works Department, Capital Delivery Division is releasing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) calling for qualified firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to perform Consulting Staffing Support Services associated with the delivery of projects or programs for the Categories specified below. This RFQ is intended to create lists of firms from which the City will evaluate and select the most qualified firm to provide Consulting Staffing Support Services for public works infrastructure projects or programs, whether long range and planned or short notice. After initial ranking, the City will contract with firms on the list(s) on a rotating basis, additional qualifications considered. Lists created under this RFQ will remain viable until a subsequent RFQ is issued. All firms offering to provide Consulting Staffing Support Services must comply with the State of Texas regulations regarding their respective practice areas. All proposed professional engineers must be licensed in the State of Texas to practice in their field. SOQs that do not meet the requirements outlined in this RFQ may be deemed non-responsive by the City and the firm rejected. The City reserves the right to waive minor informalities in SOQs and proceed with evaluation. The City will qualify firms and create lists based approximately on the number of projects or needs anticipated for the categories. Distribution of work across the categories will be considered in the assignment of work. The City reserves the right not to select from a list and to issue individual RFQs for specific projects. There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing responses to this request. Likewise, there is no minimum guarantee of work for responding to this RFQ, and it is likely possible that not every firm responding to the RFQ or sorted into a list will receive work pursuant to this RFQ. The City will formally evaluate the firm's performance on each contract. During that process the firm will be offered the opportunity to respond and comment on its interactions with the City.
