NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS ON AMENDMENTS TO THE TEXT OF THE COLUMBUS ZONING ORDINANCE. Notice is hereby given that the Council of Columbus, Georgia will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. in the Citizens Service Center, Council Chambers, for the purpose of hearing interested parties relative to requested changes that will amend the Zoning Ordinance as follows: Petition One – REZN-02-26-0289: A request for a text amendment to the text of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to create a Technology Overlay District and to amend Section 10.2.9 regarding Developments of Regional Impact. Anyone wishing to speak in opposition to any of the zoning requests who has made campaign contributions aggregating $250.00 or more to a local official of the City of Columbus within the last two years must complete a "Disclosure of Campaign Contributions" form as required by Title 36, Chapter 67-A, Official Code of Georgia Annotated. This form must be filed with the Clerk of Council office at least five (5) calendar days prior to the public hearing.
