I. 0015690 MUSCOGEE COUNTY Notice is hereby given in compliance with Georgia Code 22-2-109 and 32-3-5 that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved the Location and Design of this project. The date of location and design approval is: April 28, 2026 This project proposes to reconstruct the existing intersection of State Route (SR) 22 / US 80 (Beaver Run Road) at SR 22 Spur (Macon Road) in the City of Columbus, GA., to a multi-lane roundabout. The project is entirely contained within Muscogee County and Land District 9. The new multi-lane roundabout will be constructed in the approximate location of the existing intersection. The project length is approximately 0.3 miles. The estimated time of construction is approximately 18 months. No off-site detour is anticipated during construction. The Georgia Department of Transportation would be responsible for acquiring property rights for this project.
