SECTION 001100 Downtown Americus Outdoor Event Space and Park Development (also known as The Reverend Pearly Brown Music Park) – Phase 1 & 2A Americus, Georgia for One Sumter Economic Development Foundation ADVERTISEMENT FOR INVITED BID Notice is hereby given that One Sumter Economic Development Foundation ("One Sumter") will receive bids on a General Contract for Downtown Americus Outdoor Event Space and Park Development (also known as The Reverend Pearly Brown Music Park) – Phase 1 & 2A, Americus, Georgia. Moon Meeks & Associates, Inc., as the Owner's Representative, will receive sealed bids until 11:00 AM, EST, Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at the offices of MOON MEEKS & ASSOCIATES, INC., at which time and place all bids will be opened and read aloud. It should be duly noted and understood that this is an OPEN BID. Bid Documents may be obtained from MOON MEEKS & ASSOCIATES, INC. 100 SOUTHERN WAY, SUITE A", COLUMBUS, GA 31904. Applications for documents together with deposit of One Hundred & Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per complete set should be filed promptly with MOON MEEKS & ASSOCIATES, INC. Bidding material will be forwarded, shipping charges collect, as soon as possible. NO PARTIAL SETS WILL BE ISSUED. NO CHARGE SHALL BE RENDERED FOR PLANS THAT ARE SENT ELECTRONICALLY. The full amount of deposit for each set will be refunded to each General Contractor who submits a bona fide bid upon return of such set in good condition within 10 days after date of opening of bids. No deposits will be refunded for contract documents received after10 days after the date of opening of bids. All proposals must be on a lump sum basis; no segregated proposal will be accepted. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the time and date of opening of bids. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms as provided herewith. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required by the successful bidder in the full amount of the Contract Sum. The OWNER, One Sumter Development Economic Development Foundation, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in the bidding. Payments shall be made monthly after CONTRACTOR presents a Pay Application to the OWNER and MOON MEEKS & ASSOCIATES, INC. for review and approval. There will be 5% Retainage withheld from monthly payments from the OWNER to CONTRACTOR. Final payment shall be made in full within thirty (30) days after the satisfactory completion of all work has been approved by the Engineer and One Sumter. Prior to payment, the CONTRACTOR must submit a notarized WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIEN AND BOND RIGHTS stating that all labor, materials, equipment rentals or any other related expenses of the CONTRACTOR have been paid in full. Extra work above the scope of work outlined in the documents shall be paid for based on the Unit Price Schedule accompanying this BID. Said Unit Price Schedule shall be made a part of the Contract between the OWNER and CONTRACTOR.
