The date of location and design approval is: January 9th, 2026 The proposed GDOT/TIA project P.I. 0019527 would widen Buena Vista Rd/CR 2226 from two and four lanes to three lanes from SR 22 Spur/Wynnton Rd to Annette Ave/CR 632 with sidewalks and a multiuse trail in the City of Columbus in Muscogee County. The existing ROW is 50-100-ft, and the proposed right of way and easements would vary from 58-100-ft. The total project length is approximately 1.53 miles.
