Separate sealed Bids for furnishing chemicals for use at the North Columbus Water Resource Facility (NCWRF), South Columbus Water Resource Facility (SCWRF), Uptown Park Combined Sewer Overflow (UPCSO), South Commons Combined Sewer Overflow (SCCSO), and Fort Benning Water Treatment Plant (FMWTP) will be received by the Owner at the offices of Columbus Water Works, 1421 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, Georgia 31901, until 2:00 P (EST), February 11, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at said location in the Chattahoochee Room at 2:00 PM (EST) on February 11, 2026. Chemical usage requirements will be for the period of June 26, 2026, through June 25, 2027. The list of chemical supplies, along with the approximate usage and quantities of delivery, is as follows:
BID ITEM NO. 1: Liquid Chlorine- (285) 1-ton cylinders - delivery on flat bed or open trailer.
NCWRF-5301 River Road - 165 tons in minimum lots of two (2) cylinders
SCWRF - 120 tons in minimum lots of ten (10) cylinders
BID ITEM NO. 2: Liquid Chlorine - (20) 150lb cylinders/3,000 pounds.
FMWTP - Intake Chemical Building -6709 Cole Drive.
BID ITEM NO. 3: Hydrofluosilicic Acid (23% Fluoride) - 51,000 gallons in 4,000-gallon shipments
NCWRF -40,000 gal
FMWTP -11,000 gal
BID ITEM NO. 4: Sulfur Dioxide- (100) 1-ton cylinders - delivery on flat bed or open trailer.
SCWRF - 100 tons in minimum lots of twelve (12) cylinders
BID ITEM NO. 5: Liquid Aluminum Sulfate- 1,200 dry tons, in 4,000-gallon shipments.
NCWRF -1,000 dry tons
FMWTP -200 dry tons
BID ITEM NO. 6: Sodium Hypochlorite (12.5% or greater strength)- 2,225,805 gallons in 4,000-gallon shipments.
NCWRF-2,137,805 gal
SCCSO -45,000 gal

UPCSO -29th Street -8,000 gal
BID ITEM NO. 7: Sodium Bisulfite (38% strength)- 50,000 gallons in 2,500-gallon shipments.
