NOTICE OF FILING AND PUBLIC HEARING Application of Ripple Fiber LLC and Ripple Fiber Holdco LLC for Assignment of a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to Provide Resold and Facilities-Based Local Exchange and Interexchange Telecommunications Services in the State of South Carolina (See Also Docket No. 2023-287-C) Docket No. 2026-204-C Why is this Notice Important? Ripple Fiber LLC ("Ripple Fiber") and Ripple Fiber Holdco LLC ("Ripple Fiber Holdco") (together, the "Applicants") filed an Application for Pro Forma Assignment of Ripple Fiber's Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity ("Certificate") Docket No. 2023-287-C, Order No. 2023-893, to its parent entity Ripple Fiber Holdco with the Public Service Commission of South Carolina (the "Commission"). Commission Order No. 2023-893 granted Ripple Fiber a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide facilities-based and resold local exchange (including exchange access) telecommunications services within South Carolina. The Applicants request that the Commission issue an Order: Approving the pro forma assignment of Ripple Fiber's Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity from Ripple Fiber to Ripple Fiber Holdco as described in the Application. Authorizing Ripple Fiber Holdco to use flexible regulation procedures for local exchange telecommunications services as outlined in Order No. 98-165 in Docket No. 97-467-C. Waiving the application of certain Commission rules pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103-601(3). PLEASE BE ADVISED pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280, as amended, the Commission will invoke the 120-day period allowed for consideration of this matter. The case was filed according to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280, Section 58-9-585, Section 58-9-310, and the rules and regulations of the Commission; and this hearing has been scheduled according to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280 and S.C.
