NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Application of LiveOak Fiber, LLC for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity and for Alternative and Flexible Regulation - Docket No. 2026-219-C Why is this Notice Important? LiveOak Fiber, LLC, ("LiveOak" or "Company") filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide resold and facilities-based local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services in South Carolina with the Public Service Commission of South Carolina (the "Commission"). In its Application, LiveOak requests the Commission issue an Order: Granting LiveOak a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide resold and facilities-based local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services. Authorizing LiveOak to use flexible regulation procedures for local exchange telecommunications services as outlined in Order No. 98-165 in Docket No. 97-467-C. Authorizing LiveOak to use procedures established for alternative regulation for interexchange telecommunications services as outlined in Order Nos. 95-1734 and 96-55 in Docket No. 95-661-C and as modified by Commission Order No. 2001-997 in Docket No. 2000-407-C. Waiving the application of certain Commission rules pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103-601(3). The case was filed according to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280, Section 58-9-585, and the rules and regulations of the Commission; and this hearing has been scheduled according to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280(B) and S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103-817. PLEASE BE ADVISED pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-280, as amended, the Commission will invoke the 120-day period allowed for consideration of this matter.
