PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN OF SWANEA, SOUTH CAROLINA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – PROPOSED MILLAGE RATE INCREASE The Town of Swansea will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 320 West Third Street, Swansea, SC 29160, for the purpose of receiving public comment on the proposed millage rate for Fiscal Year 2026–2027. The current millage rate for Fiscal Year 2025–2026 is 117.9 mills. The Town proposes an increase of 3.67 mills, resulting in a new total millage rate of 121.57 mills for Fiscal Year 2026–2027.
