Vero Networks ABS, LLC, (the "Applicant") filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide resold and facilities-based local exchange and interexchange (including exchange access) telecommunications services in South Carolina with the Public Service Commission of South Carolina (the "Commission"). The Applicant and Vero Fiber Networks, LLC ("Vero Fiber") (together the "Parties") have requested that the Commission approve the transfer of certain fiber network assets to Applicant. What is Vero Networks ABS, LLC asking the Commission to approve? Vero Networks ABS, LLC requests the Commission issue an Order: Granting the Applicant a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide resold and facilities-based local exchange and interexchange (including exchange access) telecommunications services. Authorizing the Applicant to use flexible regulation procedures for local exchange telecommunications services as outlined in Order No. 98-165 in Docket No. 97-467-C. Authorizing the Applicant to use procedures established for alternative regulation for interexchange telecommunications services as outlined in Order Nos. 95-1734 and 96-55 in Docket No. 95-661-C and as modified by Commission Order No. 2001-997 in Docket No. 2000- 407-C. Waiving the application of certain Commission rules pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103- 601(3). Approving the transfer of assets from Vero Fiber to Applicant as described in the Application. The case was filed according to S.C. Code Ann. Sections 58-9-280, 58-9-310, and 58-9-585, and the rules and regulations of the Commission; and this hearing has been scheduled according to S.C.
