NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is Hereby Given that the County Council of Lexington County will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as can be heard) in the Dorothy K. Black Chambers located on the Second Floor of the County Administration Building, 212 South Lake Drive, Lexington, South Carolina. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public comments on Ordinance 26-10 - AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF NOT EXCEEDING SEVENTY MILLION DOLLARS ($70,000,000) AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF LEXINGTON COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA, TO PRESCRIBE THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE PROCEEDS SHALL BE EXPENDED, TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT THEREOF, AND TO PROVIDE FOR OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO. In addition, anyone who wishes to provide written public comments may do so by visiting the Public Hearings tab on Lexington County's website (www.lex-co.com) and completing the online form. Additionally, comments may be emailed to countycouncil@lexingtoncounty.sc.gov or mailed to the Clerk to County Council at 212 South Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072. All comments should be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026. The Public Hearing will be livestreamed on the County's website and can be accessed by visiting the Meeting Portal. The Public Hearing will also be available to view on Spectrum Cable Channel 1302. A copy of the Ordinance will be available for review by contacting the Clerk to County Council at 803-785-8103 or by email at countycouncil@lexingtoncounty.sc.gov. A copy of the Ordinance can also be viewed on the Lexington County Website (www.lex-co.com) under the Public Hearings tab and will be available for viewing the Friday before the Public Hearing.
