PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE PROGRAM YEAR 2025 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) NOTICE IS GIVEN that a draft of the PY 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the State of South Carolina has been completed and will be available for a 15-day public review period. The CAPER reports on accomplishments and expenditures for the State's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA), and Housing Trust Fund (HTF) programs as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) during the 2025 program year from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026. In PY 2025 the resources made available were $20,158,365 for the CDBG program, $6,371,372.12 for the HOME program, $2,502,598 for the ESG program, $3,034,345 for the HOPWA program, and $3,134,373.20 for the HTF program. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Citizens are invited to review and make comments on the draft 2025 CAPER. The draft CAPER will be available for (15) fifteen days beginning June 11, 2026 to June 25, 2026, and comments concerning the draft CAPER must be received by June 25, 2026. The draft CAPER can be downloaded from the SC Department of Commerce website at www.cdbgSC.com.
