Notice of Public Hearing The Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission Board of Commissioners, the governing body of the Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the Commission's 2026-2027 General Fund Operating Budget. The hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the 24th day of June 2026 located at 1123 Courtney Dr, West Columbia, SC 29172. The current fiscal year budget consists of revenues of $19,070,460 and expenditures of $19,070,460. The proposed 2026-2027 budget consists of revenues of $19,456,000 and expenditures of $19,756,000. The proposed 2026-2027 operating budget reflects a 2.02% increase in revenues and a 3.59% increase in expenditures from the current fiscal year. The current fiscal year millage is 10.6. The 2026-2027 millage will generate an estimated $17,187,000. This notice is given in lieu of the requirements of section 4-9-130.
