Joint Application of Brightspeed of South Carolina, LLC, Brightspeed Broadband, LLC, Brightspeed Fiber Connection LLC, and Brightspeed Fiber Services LLC for Approval of Transfer and Lease of Assets

Why is this Notice Important and What are the Applicants asking the Commission to Approve?
• Brightspeed Fiber Connection LLC ("Brightspeed Fiber Connection"), Brightspeed Fiber Services LLC ("Brightspeed Fiber Services"), Brightspeed of South Carolina, LLC ("Brightspeed of South Carolina"), and Brightspeed Broadband, LLC ("Brightspeed Broadband") (collectively, "Applicants") filed an application for approval of transfer and lease of assets with the Public Service Commission of South Carolina (the "Commission").
• The Parties request the Commission issue an Order:
o approving completion of a pro forma transfer of certain assets, including customer contracts and related telecommunications network facilities, from Brightspeed Broadband and Brightspeed of South Carolina to Brightspeed Fiber Connection and Brightspeed Fiber Services;
o approving Brightspeed Fiber Connection and Brightspeed Fiber Services to lease back certain transferred assets to Brightspeed Broadband and Brightspeed of South Carolina; and
o approving the Application will serve the public interest by promoting fiber deployment to rural and underserved areas of the State and will not cause any disruption to or have negative effects on Applicants' customers.
The case was filed according to S.C. Code Ann. Section 58-9-310 and the rules and regulations of the Commission.

Option B:
File a Petition to Intervene. An Intervenor becomes a party in the case. Intervenors have the right to testify, cross-examine witnesses, seek reconsideration of the Commission's Final Decision, and must follow the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. To intervene, you must:
