An Integrated Resource Plan is an electric utility's forecast or prediction of the electric utility's resources needed to provide you with safe, reliable electricity in the future. Essentially, it is a utility's strategic operational plan for the next 15 years that considers both customers' demand for electricity and the utility's ability to supply it.
