LEXINGTON COUNTY TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING FOR THE PROPOSED INTERSTATE 20 INTERCHANGE AT CALKS FERRY ROAD, LEXINGTON COUNTY Lexington County will hold a public meeting regarding the proposed project to add an interchange on Interstate 20 (I-20) at Calks Ferry Road in Lexington County. The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Boiling Springs Methodist Church at 2373 Calks Ferry Road in Lexington, SC. The purpose of this project is to address the lack of network connectivity between I-20 and the western portion of the Town of Lexington and Lexington County to accommodate traffic from current and planned growth. The purpose of the public meeting is to present and gather input on the proposed project and the prepared design concepts. The public may attend at any time during the above-mentioned hours. Lexington County representatives will be available to answer questions and listen to comments regarding the project. The opportunity to submit comments will also be provided at the meeting or via phone, email, mail, or on the project website by May 8, 2026. Comments received will be taken into consideration as the project develops. Please note that no formal presentation will be made at the meeting.
