NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given by the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority (the "Authority") to all interested persons that a public hearing will be held regarding the proposed issuance by the Authority of its Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds (82 Canal Street Lofts) (the "Bonds"), in the maximum principal amount of $17,000,000. The Bonds are intended to be issued as qualified exempt facility bonds for qualified residential rental projects under Section 142(a)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The Authority will lend the proceeds of the Bonds to 82 Canal Street Lofts LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company (the "Housing Sponsor"), to provide construction and permanent financing for a portion of the costs of acquisition, construction, and rehabilitation of the multifamily rental housing facilities to be known as 82 Canal Street Lofts consisting of approximately 124 rental units and related facilities, and located at 82 Canal Street, Graniteville, South Carolina (the "Project"). The Project will be owned by the Housing Sponsor. The public hearing will be conducted telephonically on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. and the public will not be able to attend in person. However, all persons who wish to listen to the public hearing may join by calling toll-free at 1-646-828-7666 and using access code 1609596655. All persons who intend to express their views for or against the proposed issuance of Bonds, the nature of the financing, or the approval of the issuance of the Bonds must contact the Authority, not less than 24 hours prior to the public hearing, via email to LeeAnn.Watson@schousing.com to inform the Authority of your intent to do so. Those who participate in the public hearing will be permitted to address the Authority regarding the financing or the Bonds.
