Public Hearing
The West Columbia Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing to consider the following:
• Consider a special exception request for construction use located at 111 N. 12th Street (TMS 004640-14-022), West Columbia, SC, split zoned C-2 (General Commercial) and R-2 (Residential).
• Consider a special exception request for use as a residential substance abuse treatment facility located at 915 Hook Avenue (TMS: 004666-06-005), West Columbia, SC, zoned C-3 (Restricted Commercial).
• Consider a variance request for a reduced amount of required acreage for the use of substance abuse treatment facilities located at 915 Hook Avenue (TMS: 004666-06-005), West Columbia, SC, zoned C-3 (Restricted Commercial).
• Consider a variance request for relief in minimum setback requirements for the use of substance abuse treatment facilities located at 915 Hook Avenue (TMS: 004666-06-005), West Columbia, SC, zoned C-3 (Restricted Commercial).
• Consider a variance for relief in minimum parking requirements for the use of substance abuse treatment facilities located at 915 Hook Avenue (TMS: 004666-06-005), West Columbia, SC, zoned C-3 (Restricted Commercial).
The public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at the West Columbia City Hall, 200 N. 12th Street on Tuesday
January 27, 2026, at 6 PM.
