NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO TRANSFER INSURED DEPOSITS AND OTHER ASSETS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Southern Bank, 731 Charles Perry Avenue, Sardis, Georgia 30456, has filed an Interagency Bank Merger Act application with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, pursuant to 12 U.S.C. 1828(c), for permission to transfer certain loans, deposits, branch locations and related assets of Southern Bank to Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union, 1320 Washington Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. The locations of the Southern Bank branches to be sold to Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union are: 731 Charles Perry Avenue, Sardis, Georgia 30456;855 Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830;21 College Street, Gibson, Georgia 30810; and2455 Highway 88, Hephzibah, Georgia 30815. All four branches will continue to be operated as branches of Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union upon consummation of the branch sale.
