PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO AMEND 2023-2033 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Opportunity for Public Review and Comment 21–Day Public Notice November 21, 2025 to December 15, 2025 The Central Midlands Council of Governments (CMCOG) currently has proposed amendments for the FY 2023-2033 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). These proposed amendments are available for public review and comment. The TIP serves as the 10-year project priority listing and funding program for the Columbia Area Transportation Study (COATS) Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and as the Program of Projects for the urban area transit agency, the CMRTA. Proposed Amendment(s) to the 2023-2033 Transportation Improvement Program include(s): The addition of $7 million in guideshare funds for the development of the Creekside Road at Edmunds Highway Intersection Improvement Project. The addition of $2.5 million in guideshare funds for the development of the Bush River Road & Piney Grove Road Sidewalk Projects.
