Complaint and Motion for Preliminary and Permanent Injunction to Defendant John Dennis Adams, Jr. t/a Paramount Construction & Consulting Group ("Defendant Adams"):
TAKE NOTICE that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed on May 28, 2026, in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows:
That Defendant Adams be enjoined from the practice of general contracting in the State of North Carolina until such time that Defendant Adams becomes properly licensed by Plaintiff. That the Court's order provides that the injunction shall be enforceable by and through the contempt powers of the Court, pursuant to N.C.G.S. §§ 5A-11 and 5A-23. That Plaintiff be awarded its costs, including reasonable attorney's fees. That Plaintiff has and recovers such other and further relief against Defendant Adams as the Court may deem just and proper.
You are required to make defense to such pleading not later than 40 days after August 16, 2026, and upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought.
